Over the last several weeks, a number of ESA members have expressed reservations about attending the 2021 Event Safety Summit in person. Many wish to remain available for potential gigs, have concerns about unvaccinated family members, or have had travel restricted by their employer. While conditions have improved in many parts of the United States, things are not where we hoped they would be when we started planning this year’s Summit.
Further information from the Event Safety Alliance (www.eventsafetyalliance.org):
Because ESA takes your concerns seriously, we are changing our plans.
Rather than holding an in-person event that many are uncomfortable attending, we are moving the 2021 Event Safety Summit to March 22-24, 2022, at Rock Lititz. This will allow us to deliver the full in-person Summit experience when both COVID and economic conditions will hopefully have improved. The program will include both in-person and virtual attendance options available.
As a “thank you” for your understanding and flexibility, we are offering a 15% discount on in-person registrations through December 31, 2021. This discount will be applied automatically at purchase. As a reminder that ESA is grappling with the same challenges you are, so your early registration will also help us plan an event that meets your expectations.
We appreciate your continued support of the Event Safety Alliance. We hope to see you this Spring. In the meantime, stay tuned for an announcement of special virtual programming to be delivered in December.
